Aleksandar Denić is a member of the Matrijaršija collective from Belgrad. He paints big and small, fast and outrageous, classic and schooled in any technique on any surface at hand. He is an urban legend and has deserved his reputation for his hilarious, provocative and genius mix of pop-cultural references, daily political comment and other absurdities from our contemporary stream of collective consciousness. Oh, and he is a popular Kafana singer as well.
