My house – my ghost screenprinted poster for Fijuk Marknad in October 2023 by Stockholm based artist Peter Larsson. Three color winter sky and textures, love of pen and paper cutouts, collaged animation, tragicomical creatures. At this Fijuk we were dancing to Peter’s band Facenag!
FIJUK is a market place where publishers and audience meet without middlemen, a distribution point in a network of overambitious, obsessed image creators from all over the map where all roads lead to Kortedala (or to Belgrade, or to Rome, or to Mexico City). FIJUK was started as a network of micro-publishers, festivals and artists from the Balkans and Europe and has grown into an underground distribution chain with regular events for exchange of unique handmade stuff. Screenprint, risograph, offset, photocopies, micro publishing, fanzines, artist books, editions, originals, collaborations, do-it-yourself, paper, textile, ceramics, clothes, self-published, up-cycled, recycled.
